Why You Should Be Working With A Cannabis Consultant

Updated: Feb 4, 2021

Introduction to Cannabis Consulting:

The success of an investment is not only measured by its outcome but by the guidance and mentorship provided along the way. In the year 2021, a cannabis consultant is typically a group or individual that is highly skilled and trained in growing cannabis. Most “consultants” in the cannabis industry are focused on providing expert mentorship and advice to larger scale cannabinoid manufactures. These types of farmers are focused on mega scale production for dispensaries and CBD processing facilities, while cultivating in multi stage operations and encountering potential road blocks like licensing and regulations. As a residential cannabis consultant our focus is geared towards the everyday consumer. We look for the beginner, green thumb enthusiasts, who are looking to deviate from the “unknown” within black-market cannabis sales and/or looking to avoid the overly priced and taxed dispensary buds. The objective is not to teach you how to grow a ware house full of pot but to cultivate a comfortable amount of cannabis that provides multi-dimensional satisfaction.

Choosing to Work With CannaRes:

Specifically, CannaRes consulting is able to harness your new found passion and desire to cultivate cannabis and create a solid, well thought out plan that will act as a foundation of knowledge for years to come. Along the way, CannaRes will familiarize you with the cultivation process, creating a dynamic rhythm between you and your garden. We will guide you through making the best decision regarding equipment and nutrients, breaking down the many differences and benefits. For any endeavor to be successful it is important to create a solid plan of action. Without the proper education and knowledge, creating a good plan can be difficult to achieve as well as time consuming. Once the ball is rolling, the learning has only just begun. By having the right mentors and consulting team, you are setting yourself up to quickly identify and solve problems as fast as they occur. Leading to our next point regarding education. If you make the choice to grow cannabis you must understand that this is a continued process of self-development and education as there are many lessons to be learned. For example, there are lots of variables that lead to a successful harvest like: environment factors, soils/mediums, nutrients, training techniques, identifying deficiencies/pests/mold, advance growing skills with Co2 and drip irrigation systems, equipment, harvesting and so on. CannaRes is also able to do the hard work and service your plants for you. Beyond this, having the ability to follow up with someone that has an abundance of resources, vendors and suppliers will always put you in a winning corner.

What to Expect:

The consultation process is straight forward and like working with any other business. First step is to contact us and submit an inquiry form with as much detail about your project as possible. Next, someone from our team will reach out and set up a time/date to conduct a free consultation. The consultation will review your goals, budget time available, current knowledge base along with any equipment already purchased. Then, we will create a plan of action, based on our initial conversation. Once the proposal is approved, you will submit the first deposit and we will begin sourcing all your equipment and materials. Once we have sourced all necessary materials, we will schedule a date for delivery and installation. After all your equipment is set up and installed, we will sit down to go through an equipment evaluation and procedural consultation. At this time, we will review all the equipment and their functions, your next steps in starting to cultivate and understanding the basic principles to keeping a healthy environment. Upon installation and completion, we will collect the final installment giving you free reigns over your new grow operation. After a few weeks we will reach back out for a courtesy follow up to make sure you are on the right track, unless of course, we have scheduled further consultation bookings.

Legalities:

CannaRes is obligated to operate within the legal limits of local municipalities. We will advise with medical patients/caretakers and recreational users up to the legal limit. This means that if you are cultivating in a state that is currently not legal, we will not be able to conduct business with you until your local regulations change. In the state of Massachusetts where we are based, the legal limit is maxed out at 12 plants per house hold. If you have any other questions regarding the laws, please fell free to reach out and we would be happy to review the laws with you.

What to Expect Regarding Pricing:

Lastly, the discussion always leads to one question in the end of the day… “How much will it cost for me to start growing my own cannabis?” The answer of course is that it varies from person to person and will change based on your goals, environment, budget restrictions and time available. To get a general understanding, our starter packages, found at www.cannaresconsulting.com/build-a-bud-package, are as follows: Package A: Green, priced at $700, Package B: Silver, priced at $875, and Perpetual Package C: Gold, Priced at $1,299. It is best recommended that you visit our website to get more details on the starter kits but to break it down, they are barebones, starting you with the light, grower’s canopy, dual outlet timer, hydrometer, basic start up education materials and 1 hour built in consultation. Then we have additional packages for you to customize your grower starter kit.
